“Roma are a wonderful reality of our football, as they have a very precise identity and style of play. I have to compliment Rudi Garcia,” said Guidolin in his Press conference.

“Udinese also play well, though at times errors compromise certain situations. If we are in good shape, then we don’t get the performance wrong.

“I am not very well, as I’ve had flu, but the team is thankfully in better shape than I am! Confidence is high after our victory over Milan and we must play Roma with courage.”

Francesco Totti returns to the squad for the first time in over a month, as he has now recovered from muscular problems.

“Totti is world class, the icing on the cake, so he can be an extra danger for us.”

Bruno Fernandes sits out a ban, while Gabriel Silva and Silvan Widmer are struggling with injury.

“We tested out various options and Maicosuel could start. I haven’t decided yet whether to go with three at the back or four, as Roma play with an attacking trident.

“There is a quarter of a season left to play, but our fixture list is very difficult, as we have to play all of the top six.”
