Francesco Guidolin and Roberto Donadoni have been linked with the Verona job should Andrea Mandorlini face the sack.

Mandorlini has worked wonders with the Gialloblu, taking them through two promotions from Lega Pro to Serie A before securing a 13th place finish last season.

However, the 55-year-old has struggled to keep up the momentum this term and his side are still without a win after nine rounds of action.

With Hellas joint bottom of the league, the club have reportedly already lined up options to succeed Mandorlini.

After a 4-1 defeat to Sampdoria on Sunday, the Bentegodi outfit face Fiorentina tomorrow evening and another loss could spell the end for the Coach.

Corriere di Verona has reported today that Guidolin and Donadoni are the frontrunners for the hotseat should Mandorlini leave.

Guidolin made over 100 appearances for Verona as a player and is vastly experienced, having coached since 1988.

Former Azzurri boss Donadoni left Parma in the summer following their liquidation, but had impressed during his spell with the Crociati.

Walter Mazzarri had also been touted as a possibility due to his friendship with Hellas sporting director Riccardo Bigon, but he has reportedly been ruled out for having wage demands that would be impossible for the club to meet.
