Numerous sides have shown an interest in the Roman who could be available on a Bosman, but Greco is eyeing a new deal in the capital.

“I’ll soon meet with directors Franco Baldini and Walter Sabatini,” agent Beppe Bozzo is quoted as saying.

“I’m getting a lot of requests about Leandro right now, but Roma continue to have the priority and we’re hopeful that a renewal agreement can be reached.”

Greco, 23, has only been used in three Serie A games this term but Bozzo is happy with what his client is producing.

“He’s doing well,” he continued. “He’s behaving like a true professional every time that he is asked to perform.

“He did well against Lecce on Sunday and Luis Enrique has the same amount of faith in him as Claudio Ranieri did.”
