The agent of Antonio Floro Flores says he knows nothing of the reports suggesting that Genoa want to sign him for the second January running.

The former Napoli striker joined the Marassi outfit at the start of this year in a loan switch from Udinese.

Despite being a massive success after scoring 10 goals in 18 League games, the former Under-21 international returned to Udine in the summer.

Now it is being suggested that the port club want him back.

“I think it’s a paradox,” representative Paolo Palermo noted. “I don’t know anything about it so I don’t really want to comment.

“It is obviously pleasing to hear that Genoa could have regrets about not signing him outright, but Antonio is at Udinese now.

“He’ll remain with Udinese, where he has renewed his contract. He’s doing well and is happy. He’s also opened a restaurant in Friuli.”

The 28-year-old has played in six League games this term, but he’s not scored a goal yet.
