FIGC Presidential candidate Gabriele Gravina confirms ex-Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta “is open” to taking a role with the Federation.

Marotta was named Best Executive at the World Football Forum, yet pushed out of the club only a few days later with his mandate not renewed.

“I did talk to Marotta and he is open to a role,” sole candidate for the FIGC Presidency Gravina told reporters.

“I did talk to Marotta and he is open to a role,” sole candidate for the FIGC Presidency Gravina told reporters.

“Clearly, he will evaluate the proposals that come in from elsewhere too, but Marotta is the right profile for this job. If he shouldn’t be available, then we’d check other candidates.”
