Vidal is seen as the ideal replacement for Bastian Schweinsteiger, who has just completed his transfer to Manchester United.

Similarly, Juve hope to get their hands on one of the Bayern talents as part of the deal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the target is German World Cup winning goalscorer Götze.

The 23-year-old plays behind the strikers – a role Juventus confirmed they are seeking to reinforce the squad – and did not disguise his irritation at the lack of playing time under Pep Guardiola.

Götze only made the move from Borussia Dortmund to Bayern Munich in 2013 for €37m.
