With Olivier Giroud heading towards LAFC, Milan need a replacement and are looking at Goncalo Ramos, but would need special terms from PSG.

It is widely reported that Giroud has agreed an 18-month contract with MLS club Los Angeles FC, so the Rossoneri are having to intensify their search for a striker, which already hit a dead end last summer.

Some options have been mentioned, including Viktor Gyokeres, but he would be far too expensive and Milan could not compete financially with the likes of Arsenal.

According to La Repubblica newspaper, one of the candidates is Goncalo Ramos, a Portugal international who turns 23 in June.

Paris Saint-Germain paid €65m to buy hm from Benfica in January following an initial loan spell and he contributed nine goals in 30 competitive appearances so far this season.

Because of that expense, it would cost at least €50m and a large salary to bring Goncalo Ramos to San Siro, again out of their budget.

However, if PSG were prepared to let him leave on loan with an option to buy, then it could be feasible.

Goncalo Ramos had a difficult time due to a colon infection that left him hospitalised, by his own admission losing 8kg in the process, but he is finally back to full fitness.
