Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli believes the Partenopei have a competitive squad but is aware that the campaign ‘has just started.’

The Partenopei visit Milan at the Stadio Meazza tonight.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time.

Both sides have 14 points and a win would help any of the two reach Atalanta on top of the table after La Dea beat Roma at the Stadio Olimpico today.

“We’d been tracking Kim and Kvaratskhelia for some time, we were sure of their quality and are pleased with their impact,” Giuntoli told DAZN.

“We knew that we were building a competitive squad and we’ll see what happens when it comes to objectives for the season.

“The campaign has just started and we don’t want to get swept up in easy enthusiasm, just as we mustn’t let our heads drop when we stumble, which everyone does eventually. We’re aware that this is a competitive team.”
