Although he maintains that he has no problems in Tuscany, Gilardino has told Sky Sport 24 that his future has yet to be decided.
"I don't know if I will stay," he stated. "I don't want to say one thing and then do another. The transfer market is still open for some time yet.
"I've always said that I am happy in Florence, but there are a few things that need to be looked at.
"One is my contract," he added. "I'll speak with the club and make a decision with them seeing as I am valued at €18m and I have two years left to run on it."
When asked about possible destinations, Gilardino suggested that a move abroad could wait for a little while longer.
"The European Championship takes place next summer and I'd like to remain in Italy ahead of it," he noted. "That's also because our championship is still one of the best out there.
"I would like to try playing abroad at some stage though. The Spanish and English Leagues are certainly fascinating."
Juventus” data-scaytid=”8″>Juventus made a bid for Gilardino during the January transfer market, while he's also been linked with Villarreal recently.
Gila has scored 46 Serie A goals in three seasons at Fiorentina since his move from Milan.
