Guangzhou Evergrande’s search for an experienced striker reportedly includes both Alberto Gilardino and Samuel Eto’o.
Marcello Lippi’s Chinese outfit have been increasingly linked with a move for Genoa’s Gilardino this summer, believed as a direct request of the Italian tactician.
Whilst also linked with a move out to the MLS in recent days, the 31-year-old is today suggested by Gianluca Di Marzio’s website as still a target for Guangzhou.
It is also reported, though, that Gilardino is not the only striker on the club’s list of potential recruitments and that Chelsea’s Samuel Eto’o is another target they are considering.
