Sampdoria Coach Marco Giampaolo is delighted with how quickly his new signings have settled at Marassi.
The Blucerchiati played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Torino this afternoon, with forward Duvan Zapata scoring just 20 seconds into his debut.
“It was a very good match. They are a strong team,” Giampaolo commented after the final whistle at the Stadio Olimpico.
“Our new players have settled into our environment very well. That is a good sign for us.”

Fabio Quagliarella was on hand to score the equaliser for Samp after they surrendered the early advantage given to them by Zapata.
“Quagliarella has a great mentality. He has self confidence and he has played in very important matches.”
Samp have seven points from their opening three games of the Serie A season, as the home tie with Roma was called off due to weather warnings.
