Emanuele Giaccherini believes Napoli have the right mentality to win the Scudetto. “I had the same feeling when I was at Juventus.”
The 32-year-old winger joined Chievo on loan in the January transfer window due to a lack of playing time, but is still cheering on his former teammates.
“I think Napoli have reached the same level as Juventus,” Giaccherini told Radio CRC.
“I told Dries Mertens all the positive sensations I had about the side. I had the same feeling when I was at Juventus and we started winning.

“You don’t win games like against Sampdoria at home or Atalanta away if you don’t have a winning mentality. These are the signals that show me the team is ready to win.”
Giaccherini joined Juventus in 2011 and was a key part of Antonio Conte’s Scudetto victors, starting a run of seven consecutive Serie A titles.
