Frosinone are close to signing former Milan youth player Paolo Ghiglione from Genoa.
The 21-year-old right-back appears set to join the newly-promoted Serie A club on an initial loan deal, with the Canarini having the option to sign him permanently next summer.
Ghiglione spent last season on loan at Pro Vercelli, making 37 appearances as the club were relegated from Serie B.
Now, he will provide defensive cover for Moreno Longo’s team, who are back in the top-flight following their controversial play-off victory over Palermo.
