“Over the summer I received many offers, but when I found out Garcia was on the bench I closed all the other doors to come here,” he told Il Giornale newspaper.
“I mainly owe my great form at Roma to him. Our objective is Champions League qualification, but then if we manage to go further then it will be extraordinary. I won’t deny it, I’d love to win the Scudetto.
“I’ve been most impressed with Francesco Totti, an extraordinary player whose experience has really helped me. I’d love to see him play one last World Cup before he hangs up his boots.
