La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has emerged as Juventus’ top target in the middle of the park after failing to secure deals for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Franck Kessie earlier in the window.

The Morocco international has also been heavily linked with a move to rejoin former coach Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

According to La Gazzetta, Massimiliano Allegri has asked for a physical midfielder who will be an improvement on his current options in the middle of the park.

Amrabat is currently contracted to La Viola until the summer of 2024, but with the option to extend that stay by a further year.

Fiorentina have reportedly set the asking price for Amrabat at €25m, which Juventus may be able to afford if they are able to move a few players on before the close of the summer transfer window.

Those funds could be raised through the departures of Denis Zakaria to Monaco and the potential Dusan Vlllahovic-Romelu Lukuaku swap deal, La Gazzetta writes.
