Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision on his future could impact Juventus‘ transfer plans, according to reports in Italy.

The Portugal captain left the Bianconeri 12 months ago to re-join former club Manchester United.

His decision to leave the club on eve of the new season was blamed in some quarters for Juve’s slow start to the campaign – and a year on, history appears to be repeating itself as he was absent from the Premier League side’s pre-season tour.

Reports suggest he wants to leave the club and la Gazzetta dello Sport report his exit will affect whether United would allow Anthony Martial to join Juventus.

The report suggests the France forward is emerging as a prime target for the Bianconeri as they struggle to strike a deal to bring Álvaro Morata back from Atletico Madrid.

However, should Ronaldo leave, United would be less likely to allow Martial to follow him out of the Old Trafford exit door.
