La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Coach is prepared to leave his beloved club at the end of the season, regardless of the results.

This is because he is tired of hearing he’ll be fired unless Milan finish in the top four, or even that qualifying for the Champions League might not be enough to save his job.

There are reports of particular tension between Gattuso and director Leonardo, who has been slow to defend his Coach during difficult moments of the season.

La Gazzetta notes Gattuso doesn’t have any other offers on the table, but would leave Milan as a matter of principle, not wanting to be made a scapegoat for the club he represented so passionately as a player.
