Milan's Gennaro Gattuso admits he hoped title rivals Inter would lose against Bayern Munich. “I did cheer against them.”

The midfielder made the revelation after last night's amazing comeback, when the Nerazzurri won 3-2 in Germany to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals.

“Well, to be honest, I did cheer against them,” he told Radio Montecarlo.

“On 2-1 I thought Inter were going to concede another three or four. Yet you could tell the Bayern defence left something to be desired.
