Gennaro Gattuso confirmed Milan will “lose Mattia Caldara for a couple of months,” while he gives updates on other injury problems.

The Rossoneri beat Sampdoria 3-2 this evening, but the Coach still had some bad news to impart.

“We’re going to lose Caldara for a couple of months. He had a problem with the medial ligament, it’s a cursed season for him, really disappointing for the lad,” Gattuso told Sky Sport Italia.

Caldara was just about to make his comeback from a different injury when he pulled up in training.

“Jack Bonaventura is gritting his teeth, as he has an inflammation in his knee and couldn’t train yesterday. Now we have to evaluate Hakan Calhanoglu, who is trying really hard.

“It’s a bad moment, we’ve got to use the players who are in the best shape.”

Davide Calabria was carried off the field this evening after an apparent ankle sprain.
