The Nerazzurri are full of confidence after they defeated Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia semi-final on Thursday night to set up a May 15 showdown with Lazio.

“We’re coming off the back of an important week, we reached the Coppa Italia Final and now we can focus on reaching the Champions League,” said Gasp in his Press conference.

Roma beat Cagliari 3-0, but Milan have a very difficult visit to Torino this evening, so in theory Atalanta have a good fixture list this weekend.

“It depends on us now if we qualify. If we beat Udinese, we can go back into fourth, as coming back to win against Fiorentina gave us a massive lift.

“We are motivated, and we want to put the icing on a perfect week, but Udinese have had some good results despite a difficult run of fixtures.

“We have seen in our league it is difficult for teams to win every week. There aren’t too many games left now and each one becomes more decisive than the last.

“On the whole, though we are in a good run of form, we’re confident that if we put in the same amount of effort every week, we can be confident of getting the right results.

“In the long run, if you keep creating chances you have a better chance of winning games. I see a very confident and concentrated team.

“At the moment we don’t want to be too over enthusiastic, but at the same time we have the energy to finish the season well.”
