“I am receiving many compliments and I thank everyone, it is great to receive them from colleagues and opposition players,” the coach told DAZN.
“Undoubtedly, playing every three days you have to make choices. Fortunately, I have most of the squad at my disposal and can rotate without losing quality.
“There are five substitutions during a game, which undoubtedly have transformed the way coaches prepare the strategy as well.”
Muriel is given a rare start today, although he had a nasty scare when he came back from the 3-2 Champions League defeat to Villarreal and found his house had been burgled.
“We are enormously sorry about that, but Muriel is playing because he is in fantastic shape. He had a difficult period, we had very important games against Napoli and Villarreal, so fatigue is going to build up.
“I think we have the right spirit to have our say this afternoon.”
