“On paper this is the most difficult fixture remaining for us this season, so let’s pull the tooth and get it over with now,” smiled the Coach in his Press conference.

“For both us and Roma, we’re entering the decisive phase of our campaigns when targets are hit or missed.

“We are coming off two consecutive victories and the team is much more confident than when we last faced Roma.

“Just look at Andrea Bertolacci, as now he knows the right timing of each run and plays great football. He is often underestimated when people evaluate players.

“The 3-1 victory away to Milan increased our self-belief, but we need to keep feeding it. There’s certainly the hunger to make an impact and prove ourselves.

“We are in good shape and have some fresh legs as alternatives to those who played on Wednesday too.”

Nicolas Burdisso is suspended against his former club, while Diego Perotti and Giovanni Marchese are injured.
