The on-loan Chelsea midfielder has struggled for playing time since moving from Stamford Bridge, with the player’s agent yesterday warning that it is a situation that could see the Dutchman return early to London.
Milan’s Vice-President, however, was quick to praise the 21-year-old after his performance in yesterday evening’s 2-0 victory, as well as evaluating other Rossoneri players.
“I am very happy with the performance of Van Ginkel, especially in front of the defence,” Galliani told Mediaset.
“He has given us great quality, he is a great player.
“I saw a good game from [M’Baye] Niang, and I’m happy with [Giampaolo] Pazzini’s goal.
“It’s an important victory with the Genoa game coming up, whilst I review the Palermo game with Inzaghi, and aside from the goals they played a good game.”
