Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani hopes to keep Pippo Inzaghi even though he is disgruntled at a lack of playing time this season.

The 37-year-old scored a brace against Real Madrid in midweek, but didn't start away to Bari on Sunday.

"I have already told Pippo: 'You have been after a contract renewal for a year and now there is no chance that I am letting you leave'. He will stay with us," Galliani revealed.

When asked to reflect on the 3-2 win over Bari, he said: "We did well, scoring three goals and wasting other chances.

"Allegri left out Ronaldinho and Pato at the beginning but the fact that he adopted this solution means that he doesn't lack courage.

"He is playing those who are most in form and when a bench is as rich as ours…"
