Milan’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani doesn’t rule out another bid for Alessio Romagnoli but ‘we’re definitely well-covered’.

The Rossoneri have been pursuing the young Roma defender all summer, but the director is not committing to another bid for the Italian Under-21 international.

“We’ll see,” Galliani told reporters at Malpensa airport when asked about Romagnoli.

“In any case we’ll be fine. We have five very strong central defenders, and we’re definitely well-covered.

“The transfer window close at 11pm on August 23.

“Ibrahimovic? Zlatan has another year on his contract with PSG, and even then there have been no specific indications, but we’ll see.”

The Diavolo are flying to Germany for the Audi Cup, and Galliani discussed their pre-season so far.

“This is a great tournament, which has attracted teams with great quality like Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

“The last game against Madrid? We were the better side, we had two chances with [Carlos] Bacca, then it went to penalties and the goalkeepers had to take one after 10-10.

“So let’s say we drew with Real Madrid. We played with a lot of personality.”
