“If we were to reach an agreement with Roma, we’d have to sit around a table to find a solution.

“As for Cerci there is a deal between us and Genoa, while the player is also in agreement. We just need the all-clear from Atletico Madrid.”

Galliani was asked about reports tonight could be the final game for Sinisa Mihajlovic or Rudi Garcia.

“Let’s leave the Coaches alone. Stay calm, enjoy the game and not make any other considerations. I did think we’d be higher up the table. Our objective is to reach the Champions League.

“The President made big investments, unfortunately we dropped points against smaller clubs, but we have 28 points and that’s what we deserve.”
