The beleaguered Milan CEO has been the subject of fierce criticism from Rossoneri fans but the Italian tactician is convinced of his credentials.
“He represents Milan’s history and history does not change overnight,” Lippi said to Tuttosport.
“We are in contact regularly, if he were ready and available I would definitely make him an official offer.
“He would be the perfect man to re-organise my club at large.
“Here I aim to win everything. Keeping the hunger to win within my players will be my most difficult challenge in future.”
