Adriano Galliani is philosophical about leaving Milan – “directors go, Milan continue”.
A Chinese consortium, Sino-Europe Sports, is in the process of taking over the Rossoneri, and Galliani will leave if and when the sale goes through.
“Milan is a dream, an eternal love and it’s not the end of that love,” Galliani told MilanNews.
“I’m very focused on my work, and I’ll show that right up until the closing. Then I’ll stay a Milan fan, the love absolutely won’t go anywhere.

“Milan was born on December 6, 1899 and the important thing is the good of Milan. Directors go, the important thing is that Milan continue and do well like they did with President [Silvio] Berlusconi.
“I love remembering not just the 28 trophies, but also the 16 runner-up places. It’s 28/29 and 16/17 though, because we’ve got a last final in Doha [the Supercoppa Italiana]. The total is 45.”
Galliani was then asked whether Sino-Europe could take the Diavolo back to the top in Europe.
“I hope so, but it’s become very difficult in Europe, there are colossal clubs.
“It’s hard to return to the top in Europe. We hope, but it’s difficult to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid.”
