Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani wouldn't be surprised if Carlo Ancelotti was appointed at Roma this summer.

Ancelotti's time at Chelsea looks to be coming to an end after Tuesday's exit from the Champions League at the hands of Manchester United.

Last night, former Italy boss Marcello Lippi threw his hat into the ring of candidate to replace Ancelotti at Chelsea, telling Radio Mana Mana: "It would be beautiful."

It's no secret that Ancelotti is Roma's No 1 choice to replace caretaker boss Vincenzo Montella at the end of the season in May.

"Carlo loves Roma a lot. He loves the city," Galliani told Sky Italia.

"They were his first team at the highest level.

"He has Roma in his heart, but I don't want to get involved in other people's business," he concluded.
