Adriano Galliani says Milan’s January transfer activity will be ‘similar’ to how it was in August.

The Rossoneri had been expected to be heading into the New Year with heavy financial backing from their perspective new owners, the Sino-Europe Sports group.

However, their takeover from outgoing President Silvio Berlusconi has still not been finalised amid rumours that the deal may now not be done before the end of the season.

“With the current situation, I will manage the transfer window but every decision will have to be shared with SES [new owners Sino-Europe Sports],” Galliani said ahead of Milan’s home match with Crotone.

The San Siro CEO then added that despite delays in the takeover, there is ‘no uncertainty’ for Rossoneri fans to be worried about.

“It will be a similar window to August, in which we will make our offers. It will be our second shared transfer window. There is no uncertainty.”

Galliani also discussed Sunday afternoon’s match, warning that Crotone are better than their lowly League position suggests.

“The thing I most fear is that I don’t know what mood in which I’ll watch the Rome Derby.

“Digestion works better when we win, it’s ok when we draw and it doesn’t work when we lose!

“I have followed Crotone and they have lost matches undeservedly, they seem like a team in good health who fight until the end.”
