Mattia De Sciglio says Milan must show patience in their match with Crotone on Sunday afternoon.

The Rossoneri are heavy favourites at San Siro against the struggling Pitagorici as they look to consolidate their place in Serie A’s top three.

“In Italy every match is difficult,” defender De Sciglio said upon arrival at the ground. “Crotone have found what they are good at, they have shown it in their recent matches.

“It will be a difficult match, we must not rush. We need to be aggressive and patient.”

De Sciglio was then asked about Milan’s chances of playing Champions League football for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

“We take it game by game, we are a young group and we help each other a lot on the pitch. We are more compact and we suffer together.”
