Frosinone Coach Moreno Longo admits his side were “afraid” against Roma, and understands if fans are frustrated.

The Canarini were thrashed 4-0 at the Stadio Olimpico last night, and they remain on just one point for the season without even scoring a goal.

“If we’re talking about the second half, we’re a team that doesn’t have the strength to play a certain way at this moment in time,” Longo admitted in his pre-match Press conference.

“We’re afraid of depending on a goalscorer, jeopardising an already dangerous situation.

“We couldn’t repeat the match against Juventus so I tried to make changes. We conceded straight away to Under after two minutes, it looked to me like the team wanted to react but then we conceded the second and you saw what happened.

“We’re in debt to the fans right now, they’re showing a fantastic attitude, they’re the first to believe in fighting for these colours and this shirt, and it’s absolutely right that they should make it clear when they see a performance which isn’t up to the right level.”
