Gianluca Scamacca’s fine season with Sassuolo has not gone unnoticed abroad and a number of top clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund are keen to pick him up this summer.

The 23-year-old Italian forward netted 16 goals in 36 Serie A appearances this season, putting together a mature and consistent campaign under Alessio Dionisi. His strong work saw him inherit Ciro Immobile’s spot in the Azzurri squad in this international break and he’ll be hoping to permanently oust the Lazio star in the starting lineup in the coming months.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Milan are reportedly keen to pick up Scamacca this summer but they’ll have to fight off serious competition from abroad, with a number of top clubs keen to pick him up. Juventus and Inter have also been linked with a move.

The foreign clubs interested in the Italian include Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and PSG, but other clubs are also reportedly on the sidelines. The Sassuolo forward seems destined for the jump to a big team this summer, ready for the next step of his career.

  1. Why would PSG sign him? And why would he go there? We already have one Italian international sitting on their bench and I think that’s enough.
