Daniele De Rossi welcomed four of his international players back into Roma training on Wednesday as the Giallorossi prepare to face Lecce in Serie A on Monday.

The Roma ranks were boosted by the return of Gianluca Mancini from the Italy national team, Tommaso Baldanzi and Edoardo Bove from the Italy U21s and Evan Ndicka of Ivory Coast.

The latter was included in the preliminary Ivory Coast squad for games against Benin and Uruguay but later withdrew on precautionary grounds. He has since recovered from his minor injury scare and is training with the rest of the Roma first team.

Several others, including the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Nicola Zalewski, who were in international action on Tuesday night, are still yet to return.

De Rossi will still have to do without several key players for the trip to Lecce, as Paulo Dybala, Bryan Cristante, Leonardo Spinazzola, Renato Sanches, Chris Smalling and Rasmus Kristensen all continue to work individually according to update from Il Romanista on Wednesday afternoon.

Roma currently sit in fifth place in the Serie A standings after a strong run of form heading into the international break.

The Giallorossi are, in fact, third in the Serie A form guide over the last six matches, with four wins, one draw and one loss, a record only bettered by fourth place Bologna and league leaders Inter.
