Paulo Fonseca has a plan to get Roma accustomed to playing behind closed doors and urges ‘everyone to watch Serie A, an attacking and exciting league.’

The Giallorossi will make their comeback after the lockdown on Tuesday evening against Sampdoria at the Stadio Olimpico.

“It’s going to be difficult playing at the Stadio Olimpico without the passionate Roma supporters, so on Monday we’ll try training at the stadium in order to get accustomed to the atmosphere,” the coach told Portuguese Sport TV.

“It’s going to be difficult playing at the Stadio Olimpico without the passionate Roma supporters, so on Monday we’ll try training at the stadium in order to get accustomed to the atmosphere,” the coach told Portuguese Sport TV.

“Serie A is a fascinating league and tactically it’s so rich, as every game is different, there are always various scenarios and strategies. In fact, I invite everyone in Portugal to watch Italian football, because although it’s true the teams defend well, it is also an attacking and exciting league.

“I am really enjoying this experience and I honestly believe that I can continue developing as a coach more here than by returning to Portugal.”
