Dzeko was on target in today’s 3-1 friendly win over Perugia, but with Romelu Lukaku seemingly going to Juventus, Inter have to put all their resources into the Bosnian centre-forward.

“Dzeko is here with us, he is our player. I can say he has worked very well and I saw no signs suggesting he’s distant from us,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“At this moment, we are clearly missing a centre-back. We have two forwards, Dzeko and Patrik Schick, so the priority on the transfer market must be signing a central defender.

“I am not yet totally satisfied with the team’s performance, but we’re early in the process and I saw an aggressive attitude today, even if we then lost the ball too easily.

“In the second half, we were more in line with what I was looking for. It’s a process and it’ll never end, as there are many things that need to be improved.”
