The Portuguese tactician is coming to the end of his first season in Italy and has found it particularly challenging.
“Italian football is different and I am learning so much,” Fonseca told Socios.com.

The Portuguese tactician is coming to the end of his first season in Italy and has found it particularly challenging.
“Italian football is different and I am learning so much,” Fonseca told Socios.com.
“It’s important to realise that every team can play with different systems, one tactic one day and tomorrow completely different. They can even play with different systems within the same match.
“All the teams prepare games strategically so well and want to go out there to play for the win. It has become important for me to realise that every match is unique and you have to be ready for anything.
“I have to get my side prepared to play against an opponent that until yesterday played in one way and today can change completely.”
