While Sandro Tonali awaits the official announcement of his €80m transfer from Milan to Newcastle, there could be a number of other high profile players from Serie A who may join him in the Premier League.

Among them is Italy international and Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa. The 25-year-old has plenty of admirers in the UK, Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool arguably being the most high-profile.

On Thursday morning, it was reported on page four of La Gazzetta dello Sport that Chiesa could be available for less than the figure Newcastle will pay for Tonali. A €60m offer could be enough for Juventus to let him go after what has been a long and testing season in Turin.

Aston Villa are also said to be dreaming of a move for Chiesa, but the player, as per La Gazzetta, has no interest in signing for Unai Emery’s side.

Andre Onana is another who could soon make the switch to the Premier League. Manchester United are the frontrunners to land his signature, with the situation surrounding current no. 1 David De Gea’s new contract still unclear.

United coach Erik ten Hag knows Onana well from their time together at Ajax, and negotiations have already got underway. Inter have rejected United’s first offer, thought to be in the region of €45m-€50m including add-ons, and are reluctant to sell for a figure under €60m.

Juventus also have another few players who are attracting Premier League interest. Among them is defender Bremer, who is thought to be highly-rated by those at Tottenham.

The former Torino centre-back would likely bring in a sizable fee for Juve, who are thought to be open to a sale for the right price. Recent rumours have detailed how Spurs could send former Juve defender Cristian Romero back in the other direction.

Tottenham have also recently been linked with another of Juve’s stars, with Dusan Vlahovic emerging as an enticing option for the North Londoners, particularly if Harry Kane decides to move on this summer. Chelsea, among others, have also been linked with a move for the Serbian international over the last few months.

Victor Osimhen, too, could be in line for a big-money move to the Premier League. The Nigerian is one of the most sought-after forwards in world football at present, with ‘big’ clubs from all over the continent dreaming of landing his signature.

Chelsea and Manchester United are both in the market for a talismanic centre-forward and both are reported by multiple outlets to have Osimhen somewhere near the top of their wishlists.
