FC Copenhagen Coach Ståle Solbakken believes Federico Santander’s goal against Roma will be “the first of many”, but was “sorry” for Robin Olsen.

The former Norwegian international brought the striker through in Denmark, and expects him to have a big impact for Bologna.

“The one he scored against Roma yesterday will be the first of many for Federico,” Solbakken predicted, speaking to Tuttomercatoweb.

“If they want to make the most of Santander, Bologna need to focus on getting in crosses from out wide.

“Here in Copenhagen, Federico showed great physical power and aerial ability, scoring plenty with his feet and his head.

“We’re all very close to Federico, and naturally we’re following him closely in his new adventure and we want to reiterate our best wishes for his season at Bologna.

“I’m sure he’ll do well in the Italian league.

“Sunday was a little bittersweet though, it was nice to see Santander score, but it’s disappointing that it came against our former goalkeeper [Olsen].

“I’m sorry for Olsen and that his Roma were beaten.”
