“It seems Fiorentina are not willing to sell him,” Badelj’s agent said to ItaliaCalcio24.
“We’ll see what happens in the next few days. I think the interest in the player from Roma, Milan and Inter is still alive, but the problem remains that at this moment it seems that none of these clubs have the financial means to make an official offer.
“Moreover, everything could depend on the future of Nikola Kalinic, because if Fiorentina were to sell him for the figures being mentioned, the Viola wouldn’t have any financial problems and wouldn’t give up any of the current members of the squad, even in the face of good offers.
“Milan though has a good relationship with Fiorentina, he’s never had any problems with the club or the Coach [Paulo Sousa].
“So he wouldn’t worry about finishing the season with the Viola.
“In any case, I’ll be in Milan at the end of January, so who knows if a possible breakthrough in the deal could materialise at that time…”
