After deciding not to sign Marco Sportiello permanently, Fiorentina turn their attentions to Alex Meret of Udinese.
The Viola announced last week that they wouldn’t sign Sportiello outright from Atalanta, having taken him on loan in January 2017.
Now Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is reporting that they have turned their attention to Meret, who spent this season on loan with Spal.

The 21-year-old was crucial in keeping the Spallini up, turning in some impressive performances int he second half of the season.
Having returned to the Zebrette, the goalkeeper would be on sale for around €25m.
Roma are also interested though, and that could spark a bidding war which would push the price higher.
