Andrea Belotti sees his contract expire in the summer and Fiorentina, Napoli and Roma seem the most credible contenders for the Italy international.

Belotti is unlikely to sign a new deal at the Stadio Grande Torino. Ivan Juric still hopes to persuade Il Gallo to stay at the club, but the striker has several suitors in Italy. Milan and Inter were interested in signing the Italian striker a few years ago, but he is no longer a priority for both Milanese sides.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, Napoli and Roma are monitoring the 28-year-old, while Fiorentina have joined the race to sign him. The Tuscans secured the services of Arthur Cabral and Krzysztof Piatek in January to replace Dusan Vlahovic, but the former Genoa star is on loan at the Artemio Franchi and Fiorentina may not make his move permanent at the end of the season. Belotti, 28 has been struggling with injuries this term and has only managed five goals in 18 appearances.

  1. Not sure how I would feel about a move to Napoli. Osimhen could go, Petagna can’t be happy playing as a reserve all the time, Mertens will be moving on soon so I could see how it would be a good bit of business for Napoli but it depends too much on other traffic

  2. He’s scored 5 goals in 18 games played this season, is 28 years-old and is having injury issues. Why do these teams want him? He’s not the same player he was a few years ago.

Agree, he isn’t the same player and he doesn’t cost as much as he did then either.
In fact he comes for free and don’t demand the wages he would have demanded when Cairo wanted 100 million euros for him maybe that’s why some teams still wants him.
Because if he just stay out of injury at worst he would be a good enough player to come of the bench that cost almost nothing
