The Gazzetta dello Sport is today suggesting that Fiorentina are dreaming of recruiting Rui Costa as Corvino’s replacement.

The 39-year-old spent seven years at the Stadio Franchi as a player before his 2001 transfer to Italian giants Milan.

The former playmaker is currently the sporting director of Portuguese outfit Benfica.

Meanwhile, the Corriere dello Sport is linking a different name with the position – Danish midfielder Jorgensen.

The 36-year-old is still playing football in his homeland for Aarhus, the club he joined from Fiorentina in 2010.

Jorgensen, who spent six seasons in the Viola jersey, could apparently be asked to work alongside current Fiorentina scout Eduardo Macia.
