Fiorentina have reportedly asked Chelsea to take Charly Musonda on loan with an option to buy.

According to Sportitalia, the Viola made an approach to take the 21-year-old Belgian talent until the end of the season.

It seems as if Chelsea are unwilling to include an option to buy as part of the deal, but Antonio Conte would be open to a six-month dry loan.

The forward has made only a handful of substitute appearances this season, but scored three goals in two EFL Trophy games.

He impressed last year in a loan spell at Real Betis.

Negotiations will continue, as Fiorentina hope they can help Musonda’s development in the same way they did Mohamed Salah.
