Malaga might be back in for Ricardo Centurion after Genoa broke off negotiations with Boca Juniors.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Grifone have definitively ended talks because Boca were only prepared to take the striker on loan.

He turns 25 later this week and his career has been beset by problems off the field and reports of his bad attitude.

Genoa signed the fiery Argentine in August for €5m from Sao Paulo, but he made only five appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia for a total 201 minutes of football.

Malaga had been on the verge of a deal before Boca Juniors came calling and Centurion had his heart set on a return home, but this no longer seems to be on the cards.

Genoa have no intention of letting him leave on loan, as they must cash in on the expensive flop.
