“For this, and because of the hard work my teammates and myself put on the pitch during that time, I can’t accept him.”
Roma boss Zeman is famous in Italy for his continual attacks on Juventus, for whom Ferrara appeared for, in the 1990s and 2000s.
Sampdoria, who were handed a one-point penalty at the start of the season, are actually a place and two points better off in the table than the Giallorossi.
Ferrara has named a 20-man squad for the Stadio Oliimpico tie, but he will be without the injured Andrea Poli and the suspended Maxi Lopez.
