Matias Fernandez could be facing a month out after the Milan midfielder reportedly tore his left hamstring while on international duty for Chile.
According to La Tercera, Fernandez is suffering from a similar injury to the one he picked up in March, again while representing Chile, which kept him sidelined for a month.
The Fiorentina loanee was substituted just 10 minutes after he was introduced to his country’s 0-0 draw with Bolivia on Wednesday, with TV cameras showing the player to be visibly down before he was comforted by his Coach Jose Antonio Pizzi.
