Juventus pair Nicolò Fagioli and Nicolò Rovella are both exciting prospects but they’re set to take different paths this summer.

The duo have both been brought by Massimiliano Allegri to the Bianconeri’s pre-season tour in the United States and both are fighting for a spot in the first team, keen to finally make their mark in Turin.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Juventus already have a plan for the pair, with one set to stay and the other heading for a temporary loan departure. Fagioli is the one likely to remain in Turin, at least until January, and Paul Pogba’s injury only further solidifies his position.

The Bianconeri are planning to work on a contract renewal soon, but they’re not too concerned as both parties are keen to iron out a deal. Should play time be limited come January, his position would be discussed again.

For Rovella, a new loan spell is on the horizon, with a move to Salernitana or another interested club likely. Talks are currently ongoing and a final decision will be made once the US tour comes to an end.

4 thought on “Fagioli set for Juventus stay but different story for Rovella”
  1. Fagioli is good
He can easily play alongside Locatelli and Pogba
Just give him some time and I’m sure he will prove himself.

  2. Good move. Fagioli, Miretti and Rovella together would be too many youngsters. Also, Fagioli played really well last year so he deserves a chance. Rovella was injured a lot and should prove himself more.

  3. I agree with Messi, thought Rovella was good last night vs Barca and somehow played the whole 94 minutes in that heat. I like him long-term and wouldn’t be disappointed if he stayed with the team this year.
