Napoli are reportedly preparing to propose an improved bid for Giacomo Raspadori and selling Fabian Ruiz to Paris Saint-Germain may give them the boost they need to close out a deal.

The Partenopei are incredibly keen to pick up the talented 22-year-old forward but their first €30m offer was quickly declined by Sassuolo, who want at least €40m for the player. Aurelio De Laurentiis is not planning to give up and he’ll meet with his Neroverdi counterpart Giovanni Carnevali tomorrow to further discuss a deal.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are currently negotiating the sale of Fabian Ruiz to PSG, a deal that could see them earn around €25m including add-ons. Completing this would certainly provide them with the resources necessary to close out a deal with Sassuolo for Raspadori.

Updates are expected next week, with PSG pushing to bring the Spanish midfielder to Paris and Napoli desperate to add a fresh face to their attack.
