Napoli’s plans changed for this match over the last few days, when Osimhen won his appeal to have a two-match ban for a reaction foul halved, meaning he could play here today.
“Our playing style remains the same. We know Osimhen is very fast, so we must try to support that strength, but we have other great forwards too. The whole team is ready, we know everyone must give their best to win games,” Fabian Ruiz told DAZN.
Former Fulham midfielder Anguissa is thrown straight into the starting XI for his debut after just a couple of training sessions with his new teammates.
“He spent a year in Spain, so can speak a little Spanish. He arrived hungry, determined and eager to play this game. He already showed us in training how good he is, now he can show everyone on the pitch and we expect a great deal from him.”
